End of harvesting season

The harvesting season is drawing to a close and it’s now time to focus on areas that no longer contain crops.  
You should take a number of steps:

• Take soil samples in good time, to calculate the correct amount of fertiliser.
• Prepare the irrigation; particularly fields growing Gijnlim require a good supply of water after the harvest.
• Check the fields for pests, enabling you to take timely action if required.
• Check your crop protection agents so that, if needed, these can be applied quickly.
• Remember to also use a rust agent when fungicides are applied for the first time.
• Regular stock control with registration [at least once/week] will help you when using pesticides.
